The hotel is situated in a lovely quiet area, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It is located near the Bude to Widemouth cycle path, making it convenient for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the beautiful surroundings. The rooms are well-designed and we were particularly impressed by the beautiful bunk beds for children, complete with their own TV. The attention to detail, such as the homemade cookies and many thoughtful touches, made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast provided was delicious and of a high standard, ensuring we started each day off right.

Our stay during the Easter break was lovely. The shower and facilities were great, and the breakfast was superb with a wide range of choices that satisfied our tastes. We appreciated the fact that the hotel was within easy walking distance to the town center, making it convenient for us to explore the local area. We also enjoyed the cream tea offered on arrival, which was a thoughtful gesture.

While our stay was generally pleasant, we did find that on some occasions the service was inconsistent. For example, some days our room was cleaned very well, while on other days there were a few lapses in the attention to detail.

Bagbury Byre is conveniently located down the hill from the local independent cinema and within walking distance to Bude center. the rooms are well-equipped, with separate sleeping areas for families and comfortable beds. the bathrooms are clean and modern with nice showers and baths. the service is outstanding, with the host going out of her way to accommodate dietary restrictions and provide homemade treats. the breakfasts are fantastic, featuring a wide variety of options.
